Patrick Adamson
B.Com, C.A
- Director
- Trustee Network Tasman Trust
Patrick was born and raised in Nelson; he attended Nelson College and is married to Rosalie (nee Gibbs). They have three adult children.
Out of work Patrick is a keen follower of his three children's sports, especially volleyball and basketball and is an avid armchair critic and rugby enthusiast.
For his own recreation Patrick chases a little white ball round the golf course in the never ending endeavour to lower his golf handicap; having given up running some time ago he still likes to get up on the Richmond hills and visit the gym on an irregular basis.
Patrick studied at the University of Canterbury where he gained a B.Com majoring in accountancy. He then went on to complete his professional training with Price Waterhouse in Christchurch for four years in both business services and audit.
In 1985 Patrick and Rosalie decided to return to Nelson to be closer to family. He obtained a senior position with Craig, Anderson & Co and three years later he joined Ted Anderson in partnership of the firm. Patrick enjoys tax planning and helping in tax minimisation for his clients. He also enjoys dealing with a wide variety of clients and his role as secretary for Network Tasman Trust which he has held since 2002.
