GST Returns
If you file GST returns monthly, 2 monthly or 6 monthly and the period ends on 30 September 2010, you will need to file a return as normal but making an adjustment for goods and services, relating to purchases paid for and income received after 30 September 2010.
If you file your GST return every two or six months and the period spans 1 October 2010 you will need to file a transitional return, instead of your normal return to account for the GST change.
Inland Revenue are developing this one off "Transitional Return", which will be issued to you directly.
